Belgrade is the largest city in Serbia with a population of around one and a half million. It is situated in the northern part the country near to where the rivers Sava and Danube meet. Ever since the ending of the war Belgrade has being entirely reconstructed and now gives a broadly different assortment of architecture, a genuine combination of new and old. Belgrade goes back more than other European cities. Ancient digs have found traces of settlements going back to as far as 6th century considered being Greek, but the Romans and Celts also played a part.

These days Belgrade is home to a number of nationalities from around the globe, with the Chinese being the largest ethnic group with about 20,000 residing in Belgrade alone, and they have a genuine Chinese quarter.
