Travel to Belgrade

Belgrade is the largest city in Serbia with a population of around one and a half million. It is situated in the northern part the country near to where the rivers Sava and Danube meet. Ever since the ending of the war Belgrade has being entirely reconstructed and now gives a broadly different assortment of architecture, a genuine combination of new and old. Belgrade goes back more than other European cities. Ancient digs have found traces of settlements going back to as far as 6th century considered being Greek, but the Romans and Celts also played a part.

These days Belgrade is home to a number of nationalities from around the globe, with the Chinese being the largest ethnic group with about 20,000 residing in Belgrade alone, and they have a genuine Chinese quarter. Location

Located at the convergence of two rivers Sava and Danube is the capital of Serbia “ Belgrade”, this is also the largest city of the country with 17 municipalities where each has its own local cousin. This city has taken part in almost 115 wars; earlier it was a capital of Yugoslavia from 1918-1992. Belgrade was named as Serbia’s Capital in 1841 and it retains the same title till this date. The history of this place dates back to 4 B.C and this definitely means that it has a very rich, lengthy, and worth reading history and cultural values. Although, Belgrade is one of many oldest cities of the Europe but it still hasn’t gained much fame in the traveling sector even though it has a lot to explore along with featured nightlife, which isn’t easy to be found elsewhere in other countries or cities. However, people still love to visit this place and take interest in gathering the information about its heritage, cultures, and old lifestyle. Kuca Cveca, Avala TV tower, Hotel Jugoslaviji, Townhouse 27, Delta city and Usce Shopping mall, Exit festival in Novi Sad, Museum of Nikola Tesla, and Church of St. Petka are few worth visiting places of Belgrade.

Belgrade’s climate is very humid and oceanic it is because of its geographical location- based on the confluence of two rivers, in addition it exhibits humid subtropical zones. In January the average temperate is 0.4 centigrade and in July it normally reaches to 12.2 centigrade. Belgrade has 31 days in a year when the temperature goes above thirty degree centigrade, and 95 days when the temperature goes down to 26 degree centigrade.  The highest summer temperate recorded in the city was +forty three point one degree centigrade. It won’t be wrong to say that Belgrade has four seasons and habitants enjoy having different seasonal activities rather than sticking to their home due to extreme weather conditions. Throughout the history Belgrade has been named differently in different languages, for instance in English it translates as “ The White City” and in Serbia it is “Beograd”, which means white town. Serbian trading is very famous in the world, it’s not a quite popular tourist destination, but still it is frequently visited by Dubrovnik citizens and the Hungarians throughout the year. The city is very calm and people are friendly. Over centuries it has seen many lords, inhabitants, residents, and cultures. Belgrade is attractive and nice to dwell in.
